West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose alleges ‘snooping’ in Raj Bhavan, cites ‘reliable information’

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has alleged that he had “reliable information” about “snooping” within the governor’s home in Kolkata. This comes amid a worsening relationship between West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress (TMC)-led authorities and the state’s governor. 

CV Ananda Bose stated that there have been ‘reliable information’ about ‘snooping’ in Raj Bhavan. 

Bose stated the matter had been dropped at the discover of the involved authorities.

“It is a reality. I had dependable details about snooping in Raj Bhavan. That challenge has been flagged to the involved authorities. I’ll wait and watch,” Bose informed PTI.

Before that, West Bengal Speaker Biman Banerjee had identified delay in approval of payments on the a part of the governor.

“Since 2011, a complete of twenty-two payments have been awaiting approval at Raj Bhavan. Three Bills have remained unresolved from 2011 to 2016, 4 from 2016 to 2021, and 15 from 2021 till now. Among these, six payments are at the moment below CV Anand Bose’s evaluation,” he stated on November 7.

Bose later stated no invoice was pending with him, besides these needing clarification from the state authorities or below the consideration of courts.
