J-Ok: ‘Explosion’ heard after unprovoked firing on BSF posts by Pak Rangers in RS Pura Sector

Border Security Force personnel stated an ‘explosion’ on Thursday late night, barely hours after the Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing on the BSF troops on the International Border within the RS Pura sector.

The BSF in Jammu knowledgeable that it gave a befitting response to the Pakistan Rangers for the ceasefire violation and unprovoked firing on their posts within the Arnia space.

The ceasefire violation from the Pakistan aspect began round 8 pm, the BSF knowledgeable additional.

A neighborhood advised ANI that he was witness to a heavy change of fireplace between the BSF troopers and the Rangers round 8 pm and it was nonetheless “going on”.

“There was a heavy exchange of fire (between the BSF troops and Pakistan Rangers). The (international) border is just one and a half kilometres from here. The locals panicked as the Pakistan forces resorted to unprovoked firing and stayed indoors. The exchange of fire is ongoing,” the native advised ANI.

On whether or not there have been civilian accidents or injury to public infrastructure within the unprovoked firing from the Pakistan aspect, he added, “The officers shall be conscious if there are any.

“Further particulars are awaited.

Earlier, on Thursday, three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists had been killed in an encounter with safety personnel within the Kupwara district within the Machhal sector, police stated.
